Rude Awakening

‘It’s 8am on a Sunday!’

‘Yes, I just checking that the phone line is working yes?’

‘Why didn’t you phone the landline number? Surely when you heard it ring out and click through to answer machine then that would have answered your question…’

‘Yes, it is working, yes?’

‘Yes. The phone line is working however neither the TV or broadband are working correctly.’

Pause

‘Yes, the phone line is working, yes.’

‘Yes but can you now send an engineer to sort out the TV and internet connection?’

‘I only deal with phone lines. Good bye.’

ARGH. This has been going on for weeks. This is why my posts have been written at stolen moments during the working week and why I have been so silent on the blogging front this weekend. Once more for effect, ARGH.

I can’t be bothered to go into the detail because I’ll just wind myself up. I really don’t want this blog to turn into a crusade against appalling customer service but Tiscali I’m not sure how much more I can take.
